At the County Group we are one of the UK’s leading brokers and have recently revealed that we have created over 30 new jobs in order to support the businesses continued organic growth and latest acquisitions.
Our head office is based in Crewe and we provide a complete spectrum of personal and business insurance products as well as financial solutions such as life insurance and income protection and has also filled around 20 new positions since August 2014.
We are now on the lookout for another 10 new starters, with vacancies in areas such as telemarketing, new business, customer service, administration and accounts. The roles range from management positions through to internships and apprenticeships.
Dave Clapp, CEO at The County Group (pictured right) described the hiring spree as the broker’s largest to date.
He said: “Our ambitious growth plans mean that we’re always on the lookout for talented and ambitious people but this is new territory for us in terms of the number of jobs that have been created.”
“Since The County Group was established in 2003, it has experienced rapid growth and has also expanded across the country through a number of successful acquisitions. None of these vacancies are to directly replace somebody who has left the business – they are all brand new positions that will improve productivity, bring fresh skills and ideas to the table and enhance our ability to deliver a traditional broker service.”

We currently umbrella over 30 niche insurance brands including County Insurance, County Financial Services, Insure Taxi, JSW Insurance, Whitchurch Insurance, Horsebox-Insurance.co.uk, Clement Gallagher and Safe and Sound Insurance.
The latest recruitment drive will take the number of staff working at our offices in Crewe, Southport, Lymedale, Whitchurch, Melton Mowbray, Heckmondwike and Liverpool to nearly 200. We expect to employ over 350 members of staff by October 2016.
The employees we have working across these offices generally work full time from the hours of 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday with an hour for lunch however part time/flexi hours can be arranged for those with additional commitments. Depending on the position benefits can include full training, quick career progression, sales bonuses, regular staff nights out and much more.
