On the 27th of August, we were the match ball sponsors of the Southport FC v Tranmere Rovers Conference Premier League match, as well as being Southport FC shirt sponsors for the season and what a match it was, with Southport bringing Tranmere’s 100% record to a halt in a well-fought local derby.

At a recent Horizon Business Networking meeting, we donated our sponsored match ball to Queenscourt Hospice. The hospice are holding a Gala Ball where they will be raffling off prizes to help raise funds. This will help continue to support the incredible work of the charity.

Queenscourt Hospice is a local charity that provide support for people of Southport, Formby and West Lancs. They care for patients with serious illnesses and provide them with the best possible quality of life in their final few days. They do this at the hospice itself, at home through their in-patient unit, Queenscourt Connect and Queenscourt at Home services. The charity costs are covered by less than a third from the NHS and the rest is from charitable donations which keep the hospice running. If you want to find out more about their unbelievable work, click here to go their website.

When we were given the opportunity to donate a prize to the charity, we couldn’t pass. We thought the local Southport football club’s match ball we sponsored was the ideal fit. We wish Queenscourt Hospice all the best with their Gala Ball.
