Here at The County Group, we do our upmost for charity and as we are growing each and every day as a company, this means that we are able to contribute more towards these great causes. In December, we wanted to take part in two different events due to the fact that it was so close to Christmas and the different charities both needed as much help as possible.
The first event we participated in was the CVS Christmas Toy Appeal which meant that people from around the Cheshire East and surrounding areas were able to contribute to donating toys to children, all of which are connected to and supported by 25 different charities.
We raised a communication in house regarding the event taking place and our accounts clerk, Emma Ashmore collected all of the toys that were donated by members of staff and dropped them at a donation point. Once CVS had delivered and counted each toy, they were able to reveal that this event had been their most successful to date! Well done to everyone that contributed!

The second event that we took part in was the National Christmas Jumper Day in aid of Save the Children, as many different companies all across the country did on the 16th December 2016. We asked each of our branches to come to work in their best Christmas knit and see how much money we could raise altogether.
We managed to raise over £120.00 for Save the Children! We are all extremely proud for achieving this amount of money, and hope that it will go far for this charity. We managed to raise this by each member of our branches coming in to work in their Christmas jumpers or Christmas outfits and donating £1.
