The Journey

Your placements could be in either Personal Lines Contact Centres, Call Centres or one of our 33 Branches across the North West and Midlands meaning you could be in Crewe at our head office then moving to Southport for your next placement and on to Newcastle Under Lyme.

Throughout the program, you’ll have extensive exposure to talented people across our business, who’ll educate, inspire, and bring out the best in you. To top it all off, you’ll have the opportunity to gain recognised professional qualifications through supported learning and the Chartered Institute of Insurance as well as personal and people management skills

About you

To join our graduate scheme, you’ll need a 2:1 or above. This can be in any discipline, from any university. To us, the most important thing is that you’re interested in what we do as a business and have the ambition to succeed. We’ll expect you to roll up your sleeves, get stuck in and be passionate about your work. Because we care about making a difference for our customers and clients – and you should too.

Professional Qualifications

The day to day consists of a 5 day working week, with four days in your assigned role and one day a week assigned for study. This will include a training day, where you will get chance to meet other people on the scheme and access to insights and advice from our Training and Development Manager assisting you in your studies.

In the first instance you will complete the Certificate in Insurance (Cert CII) and by the end of the program also hold the Diploma in Insurance (Dip CII). You will also receive additional training in sectors such as; Introduction to Insurance and Introduction to Management; Growing your business; Managing your pipeline and Leading a Team.

 

Commercial Lines Branch

Spend time in one of our Commercial Lines branches and gain training and experience in the role.

Supporting Activities

Learn valuable skills from some of our head office teams, whether it's Properties and Facilities or Accounts.

Personal Lines Branch

Experience the day to day of one of our Personal Lines contact centres and advance your knowledge in the industry.
